«Ritournelles» is a choreographic project for a group of 19 amateur dancers from UNI3 in Geneva in collaboration with Caroline de Cornière, a professional dancer and choreographer from Cie C2C.

The 20 dancers together create a performance in which the gesture tells of both the power of sisterhood and the jubilation of the danced gesture of a single woman. For the first time, "Ritournelles "explores the encounter between UNI3 and the Cie C2C and experiments with a new form of feminist artistic collaboration by emphasising the moving beauty of experienced bodies."

La Cie C2C Genève

Founded in 2010, Cie C2C is a contemporary dance company based in Geneva that develops choreographic projects around the themes of women's bodies, sisterhood and female age transition. The Cie C2C calls for an art that harmonises motherhood and creativity to enable freedom and feminist emancipation in the long term. In parallel and in synergy with its choreographic works, Cie C2C offers body mediation projects aimed at making contemporary dance accessible to a wider audience, with a desire for democratisation and the sharing of practices around the question of the «ordinary» body and art for all.
