Hedgehog Striegel longs for friends and leaves his garden to find them in the forest. When he enters the forest, he stumbles upon a gathering of forest animals. In order to belong, hedgehog Striegel is asked to shed his spines and become spineless. But despite all his efforts, he is laughed at by everyone.
When the porcupine, the boss of the forest animals, appears, everyone experiences a surprising twist. A moving story about exclusion, bullying and self-discovery for children aged 5 and over.

VEREIN POWER FLOWER is a socio-cultural institution initiated by Dalit Bloch that offers people over 60 a platform to remain physically and mentally active and maintain social contacts through the medium of theatre (language, text, breathing, voice and movement work, stage performances).
POWER FLOWER offers ongoing theatre workshops, weekend workshops on interdisciplinary theatre forms and the opportunity to take part in a theatre production as part of an ensemble. POWER FLOWER also provides a regular forum for dialogue in the form of the Plapperia cultural café.</p
VEREIN POWER FLOWER would like to fill a gap in the Basel region and encourage people over 60 who are keen to experiment, awake and enjoy the power of theatre in the autumn of their lives.
